Abstract: The study aimed at investigating the role of technological innovations on the performance of third party logistic firms in Tanzania. The study employed explanatory research design, which was cross sectional in nature. The study sampled 320 respondents from 850 third party logistic firms, who participated through a questionnaire. Data analysis involved the SEM SMART PLS 4 statistical tool. Based on the findings, the study concludes that technological innovation yields substantial impact on the performance of logistic organizations. Therefore, the study recommends that third party logistic organizations need to increase the use of technological innovations to enhance their performance.
